Record Number of Sales
In the second quarter of 2021, Compass agents completed more than 65,000 transactions, growing 140% year over year, compared to an industry transaction growth rate of 32%. All of this activity resulted in Compass’ total sales being a record $77 billion!

Lots of Buyers Still Out There
Homes sold in Q2 received an average of ~5 offers, meaning there’re still 4 buyers out there for every home sold! (Source: NAR) Thinking of selling? Now's the time.

Mid-Size Markets Booming
Markets like Austin, Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg, Charlotte, Boulder, Raleigh, and Nashville are all hotspots as the hybrid work environment continues.

Strong Demand in Austin
Compass is not seeing any slow down in our hot Austin market. According to U.S. Census Bureau figures released May 4, Austin's multi-county metro population increased to an estimated 2,295,303 people as of last July. This was a 3% increase from the previous year, making it the fastest population growth among metros with at least 1 million residents.
